What makes us different?

Over the past decade the appraisal industry has undergone a significant transformation.  In additional to the handful of existing large  national appraisal firms, several smaller companies have joined forces under a common name to give the impression of being a larger  national firm.  In many cases, at these larger operations, the appraiser awarded the assignment is not even involved in the development  or review of the report.  The assignment may very well be assigned to a trainee or minimally experienced appraiser.  By remaining a  boutique firm focused on credible analyses and client communication, this disconnect will not occur at EVS.    As a result of our credible analyses, clients are able to meet their goals by making prudent investment and loan decisions. 

Student housing specialists

While EVS has provided valuation and consulting services for all types of multifamily housing, over the past 10+ years, we have developed  specialized expertise in student housing.  We constantly communicate with developers, brokers, and lenders who actively participate in  this niche sector.  To help maintain these contacts and to gleam the most up-to-date industry information, we frequently attend student  housing conferences.
